Suhana recently made her debut on the OTT platform with ‘Archies,’ directed by Zoya Akhtar. Now, the father-daughter duo is set to step into the world of cinema with a film titled ‘King.’ The movie, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand, is scheduled to begin filming in May.

The script for ‘King’ was presented to Shahrukh Khan by directors Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand, and after his review, some changes were made to enhance the storyline. The film, expected to be released in mid-2023, is primarily an action-packed venture. Shahrukh Khan actively participated in refining the action sequences, with practice sessions taking place at his residence, ‘Mannat.’ Suhana Khan also underwent training, guided by experienced Bollywood trainers.

Contrary to Shahrukh’s recent action roles in ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawan’ in 2023, sources reveal that ‘King’ will showcase him in a completely different character. The film is distinct from his previous projects. ‘King’ is a collaborative production by Siddharth Anand’s ‘Marflix Entertainment’ and Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment.’
