Anupam Roy, the singer, is excited about starting a new chapter in his life. He and Prasmita are not revealing many details about their wedding from Tolipara yet. When asked about it, Anupam simply said, “The bride is Prasmita. Let’s see what happens! I am getting married because I am hopeful.” Prasmita is known for her popular songs ‘Sajna’ and ‘Hete Naa.’
This will be Anupam’s second marriage. He was previously married to Pia Chakraborty in 2015, but after about six years, they announced their separation. Anupam and Pia, who became friends in college, decided to part ways. Despite the separation, Anupam’s personal and professional life remained unchanged. He is a well-known singer and music composer for popular films, and he has even published a book of poetry.
On the other hand, Pia Chakraborty, after the breakup in 2021, moved on and got married again to Patra Parambrata Chatterjee in November of the following year. Anupam is now ready to embark on a new journey in his personal life with Prasmita, and they are looking forward to their marriage ceremony surrounded by loved ones.
